These Echelon Home 600 thread count Egyptian cotton woven stripe sheets offer affordable luxury and exceptional comfort. They are made with single ply mercerized Egyptian cotton. The 1 cm stripe is a classic look that blends well with any décor. The stripe runs vertical on the sheets and horizontal on the pillowcases. The sets include flat sheet, fitted sheet and pillowcases (note – twin size comes with one pillowcase). The fitted sheets are fully elasticized for a secure fit, and the 16-inch pockets fit mattresses up to 18-inches deep. Machine wash and dry.

It took us some time but we found these and they are just about the same; they are both crisp and soft at the same time and feel luxurious without being too heavy, clingy or slippery. We have a set of the sheets and a matching duvet cover in white and we will be ordering a set of blue soon too. They feel wonderful after the first wash, but I can tell that further washings will help even more. We ordered the mocha color, and it matches the color depicted on this page exactly. The sheets had unusual wear in spots to the point of just a few threads remaining in some areas. I returned them and Amazon promptly sent me a new set. Now 7 months later the second set is showing the same problems and I've asked for a credit so I can purchase a different brand (which is pending at the time of this writing). I have been careful after replacing the first set when washing them using only gentle settings for both the washer and dryer as well as a mild detergent. I have a high end washer that is known for being very gentle on the items washed (is has no center agitator - using only water to agitate the items). Given I paid $75 and have only gotten 10 months use out of two sets I can't rate them highly. It's really unfortunate since they appeared to be well made and were definitely very comfortable. |
