I bought these sheets because they were reasonably priced and a decent thread count. What a great purchase. I After a few washes they are ridiculously soft and comfortable. My only complaint is that the elastic is a little loose so if you are a rolly polly sleeper it tends to come up and slide off a bit. I settled for some from TJMaxx but meanwhile ordered these from Amazon. They are my new favorites. They've held up to multiple washing already and still feel super soft. I see reviews where some people want thick sheets and I wouldn't say these are thick. However, I don't find them to be too thin (side note: our family "runs hot" so I might not be putting a lot of stock in sheet thickness). I have washed these sheets only 3 times and they are starting to pill and one of seams in the fitted sheet has started to split open. Single-ply 400 thread count sheets pilling already if EVER? Something does not add up because sheets of this supposed quality should really nerver pill, at least in my 20 years experience of buying good sheets. The set I replaced with these were almost 3 years old and not a pill in sight, they were getting thin so I replaced them. These have not lasted 2 months of alternate use without pilling and literally coming apart at the seams. I have never had this happen with sheets of quality EVER before! |
