My son turned 7 in December and is about average in height and thin. Shin guards fit well. Chest protector is too large. Catchers helmet fits well. Good set for a 7 year old, but if your kid has a passion for the position, I would look to something a bit more higher end, especially in regards to the helmet/face mask. Good for one and maybe two seasons. After that you will upgrade. My 8 year old has the Wilson set with shock mask and it is perfect. He is big for his age (about the size of a 9 or 10 year old) and fit in it nicely. |
