EASY TO INSTALL; EASY TO USEADVANTAGES I really like being able to quickly attach and remove my snorkel. I find it easier to attach the snorkel with my mask on first because my head keeps the mask steady. It's also seems easier to get the snorkel lined up with the mask properly. I also really like being able to leave the keeper on my mask and then store the mask in its original container. The keeper is small enough that it doesn't interfere with storing your mask in any small space or small bag designated for the purpose. I have multiple masks, so I purchased a keeper for each one of them. That way, I didn't have to move the keeper back and forth between masks (and risk forgetting to move it to the other mask). When scuba diving, I've come to dislike wearing a snorkel while I dive: current, stingrays, and other divers have pushed against my snorkel underwater, causing my mask to twist and leak or to completely come off... I was a bit leery of this at first, but I ordered it. The velcro is very sturdy and keeps the snorkel in place. The strap for the mask was easy to take off and to put the half of the snorkel holder on. (Make sure to put on the proper side of mask... LOL) Once I got the piece on the mask strap it was easy. This is an excellent product for the price. I still like the swivel kind, but this works great too. The snorkel Lock piece I bought at the scuba diving shop was not as nice as this and it was $14 for just 1 snorkel lock piece. I thought that was outrageous for 1 piece of plastic. Any how this is a great product. I bought 3 of these and it was a great price. Cheaper than just one at the dive shop. The snorkel part is open so you can put on the snorkel without taking apart. I was glad because we have the dry snorkels and the ends would have been hard to get off and put back on. I fear they would have leaked. Not easy to take apart snorkel and wouldn't have wanted to do... Put your mask on then attach the snorkel via velcro and you do not get any odd pulling trying to position it for your face. One improvement that could have been made would have been to put a swivel under the velcro so it could also move after it was placed on but anyway for this price it is fantastic! |
