I bought this automatic shuffler for my mom, who likes to play cards but can't shuffle to save her life. She was hosting a card party and didn't want to look like an amateur. I bought this and had it sent to her address. I also bought her a "shoe" for dealing out the cards. Both items were superb in performance and her party was the hit of the year. Her guests couldn't believe how well the shuffler worked and it lent an air of sophistication to her elegant soirée. It also saved a lot of time and energy so that people could enjoy the party. Very cheap. I realize that it isn't rocket science to operate a card shuffler but there are NO directions with this product, other than the box itself has 3 pictures. But the box will be thrown out and then there is nothing. I bought this for my 80 year old grandparents who have bad arthritis in their hands. They play solitaire and have trouble shuffling.It would be nice to have some directions that I could give to them, so they will be able to use this. Also, right on the outside of the box it says the product uses 4 AA batteries, Not Included. So I went to put batteries in so that it will be ready for use for my grandparents. These compartments are very deep and a little AA battery will fall right to the bottom. It is NOT AA, it is C batteries that it uses. So what LITTLE directions there are on the box are WRONG. The 2 compartments for the batteries are not mark in any way to tell you what size battery or what direction to put the... It's great to be able to shuffle more than one or two decks at a time. We like to play a game that requires three. The shuffler works well if you have the stacks evenly matched--with equal height and straight sides; otherwise, you may get some turned upside down when you pull out the shuffled pile. But if you just remember how to put the cards in evenly, it works quite nicely. Since I have arthritis in my hands, it allows me to participate in the shuffling part. However, the other players like to use it as well! |
