I ordered these for my boys (4 and 2.5). They both have tubes and wear ear plugs during swim. The Ear Band-It's give an added comfort that water will not enter the ear canal. The boys thought they were great. I ordered these on New Year's Day and received them BEFORE the delivery expectation. Very cool product and a must for kids with ear tubes who love water. Nice and light (I was a little nervous it would be too thick and heavy feeling). BUT BEWARE: the sizing guide is off. My daughter has a 19" head, and since that's right in the middle of the medium range (17-21"), we figured that was safe. Nope. We have to synch it ALL the way...so that just the tiniest bit of velcro is holding it shut and a long piece is left flapping off the back...and even then it's not quite snug enough. To put it in further perspective, a medium fits ME with room to spare (my head measure 22.5"). My 7yr old is prone to ear infections and needs to wear ear plugs when swimming, We bought this for her to help hold the sillicone ear plugs in place (she can't stand the feel of anything in her ear canal) and it works great. My only complaint is that we bought a medium band and it's *almost* too big for her. It fits me just fine. I think we should have gone with a small for a slightly better fit, but at least she will be able to get many years of use out of this one. |
