It's very convenient in that it is small and portable,compared to a stability ball that takes up quite a bit of room. You can "hit" all angles of your abs...upper, lower, and sides. Don't expect any "fat-loss" miracles, but this is a solid product that will produce results. I bought it because I hoped it would support my lower back and prevent injury, however it does more than that. It makes you fully stretch your abs before you sit up, giving you a full range of motion contraction.
