This review is from: Pearce Grip Grip Rubber Black 1911 PG1911-1 (Misc.) Ok, I hate to say this, but the other guy had no idea what he was talking about. If you read the description or the name of the item it is clearly not a set of "hardwood grips with a diamond pattern." It is a rubber grip enhancer. The great thing about this product is that it allows you to use a set of nice panel grips. I could not decide whether to get a nice Hogue monogrip with finger grooves or a nice set of celtic cross side panels. It's basically a set of finger groove grips, only the actual "grip" part is super thin and attaches under your normal grips. Will make the grips feel slightly thicker. It was slightly bigger than my grips, and could be seen. I just trimmed around the edges with a razor blade and you could barely tell that there was anything under the grip. The only reason it's not perfect is because it slightly interferes with loading a magazine because the rubber tends to push into the handle of my gun (because the handle under the grip has cut-outs). I love it though and would buy again.
