This review is from: Hyperflex Wetsuits Men's Hood 3/2mm Bidded Hood (Apparel) Great hood. Medium fits me well (I am woman but larger head), snug, comfortable and not binding. It should keep out the cold water well but can update in a month or so for surfing and bodyboarding with a few degrees in temperature increase here in San Diego's waters. Bib is nice and long so it should stay tucked in well. Brim more for looks as quite small so don't think it will shade your eyes. This review is from: Hyperflex Wetsuits Men's Hood 3/2mm Bidded Hood (Apparel) For the price, this is hard to beat. However, fitting might be kind of difficult. I find the neck to be kind of short, which would not be an issue if it weren't for the large bib. The bib rides up into the neck of my wetsuit and scrunches up, making it easier to flush water in. When buying the hood I was thinking that the bib would help keep water from flushing down the front of my suit. In retrospect I would have purchased a hood without the large bib(or preferably a suit with built in hood)...That said, the quality of the materials and build is just fine. Not spectacular, not poor.
