I used idrops as instructed, and used a cotton ball to rub it in. The idrops did get rid of the scratches, but it created some very faint marks on the screen. It is unknown if this was because I used the cotton ball, or due to the idrops itself. But, I must say that when I purchased the idrops, I also purchased a plastic screen protector. After I used the idrops and the screen protector was affixed, the screen looks completely flawless. I don't see the original scratches that annoyed me, and I don't see the faint marks left from rubbing in the idrops either. I recommend this product with the plastic screen protector, for a flawless screen and to prevent any further damage to the screen. I am pleased that I bought this item. It worked for me. Good luck.
