I tried it on a weekend camping trip and it was useless after not even a day. I won't bother taking it camping again. I do use it for grocery shopping trips when I plan to do other shopping afterwards. By the time I was ready to leave at 8 the next morning these packs were completely defrosted and warm. In this cooler, ice stayed solid for 2 days. It doesn't last more than a few hours. But for a short trip (picnic for example) it should keep your food cold until you need it. |
