As the goddess Aurora brings the dawn to begin each day, Luna Guitars' Aurora line offers the perfect beginning also. A student guitar line that pairs affordability with Luna's characteristic easy-to-play design features, the Aurora guitars give young players the perfect instruments on which to learn. Sized for comfort, petite cutaway bodies deliver true sound. The necks are adorned with Luna's signature moon phase fret markers. Sound holes too, are embraced by a crescent moon rosette, giving the Auroras the same look and feel that grace Luna's full-size models. And it's 'pink,' or very nearly so, a quality not to be underestimated where 11 year-old daughters are concerned... This review is from: Luna Aurora Petite Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Rose (Electronics) Just received this today and I was expecting greater things from Luna and especially the Aurora model. I found some very good reviews online and cannot believe that people were commenting on the same guitar. #1 Neck is bowed to make the upper half of the fretboard unusable. Truss rod adjustments were useless #2 The fret markers were paper stickers that started to peel off from the humidity in the air before my daughter even had a chance to play it. #3 The fretboard looks like it was badly damaged when they filed down the fret ends and was then painted over with a sharpie. This is more of a toy than anything that you could find at a dollar store.
