Hermann (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews    The product is as shown, so I guess I didn't do enough research when I bought this. If you're looking for a scorebook for baseball, this probably isn't what you want. There's 9 innings only, so any "free baseball" will leave you going to the next page. There's also room for 17 players (with three substitutes each), which clearly is not necessary for baseball. I take full blame for buying the wrong product for me personally, as I'm using this to score baseball. But I warn anybody who might fall into the same trap! However, if you're scoring softball, this product would be great for you. In reading reviews about Baseball score books, I wonder if people are aware that there are thousands of ways to score a game. To give a baseball score book either a high or low rating only indicates how well that score book works (or doesn't) for that persons particular style of scoring a game. One reviewer stated that the System 17 book doesn't work well for baseball. I totally disagree and have preferred this book over others I've used for years. To speak of my experience, in all, I imagine I have scored about 300 games of various levels and have used a variety of books. I have scored Softball games of various levels and Teeball, Little League, Minor League and ML Baseball games with this book and it has worked fine. I just recently ordered Andres Wirkmaa's book on scoring and suggest it as a must read for all "serious" baseball scorekeepers. AS FOR THE SYSTEM 17 BOOK: Most of the frequently used markings such as 1b, 2b, 3b, HR,are already printed in the situation...
