Sportcraft World Champion Bristle Dartboard

Product Description

The Sportcraft World Champion Bristle Dartboard is the ideal dartboard for the true dart enthusiast. With attention to detail the official Size 18 in (45.72 cm) x 1.5 in (3.81 cm) World Champion Bristle Dartboard is approved for tournament play. The self-healing natural sisal helps increase the life of the dartboard. When striking a dartboard, the darts are wedged between sisal fibers. Once removed, the “holes” disappear due to the pressure of the tightly wound sisal fiber. A razor thin steel spider wire with a staple-free bull's-eye is 30% thinner than standard steel spider wires which helps maximize target area, improve scoring and minimizes bounce-outs. A movable number ring will increase the life of the dartboard by rotating often hit segments with lesser hit segments while still keeping the numbers in the same place. Comes complete with hanging bracket and hardware.

Save your money. Over the first few months I bought it, the bristle started separating from the backing in different sections, which was more of an annoyance at times, with the "swells" slowly pushing the wire frame away from the board. (The room might be too dry, but it's not anything noticeable). Now, barely a year later, there are whole pie segments where the wire frame is 7/8" away from the board. If the thicker barrel of the dart doesn't make it clearly through the opening (especially tough on doubles and triples) it bounces out.
